Since 1991, Ryukyu Kobudo Taiko has been bringing this relativly modern art to Hawaii, helping to celebrate weddings, company parties, grand openings, and cultural festivals across the islands.
Our Beats are Syncopated Through Taiko.
Our club members have varied in age from 10 to 60, and we come from all parts of O'ahu, form Kaneohe to Mililani. As diverse as our individual backgrounds are, our rhythms are in sync., and we practice with great enthusiasm to continue to perpetuate and share our love for taiko drumming.

Using the form of kobudo (traditional okinawan martial arts of weaponry) as inspiration, we infuse stylistics of the past with rhythms from the present to create a dramatic and dymanic performance art we call Kobudo Taiko.
